Logistics Engineering

For AeroLogLab ITA, Logistics Engineering is the branch of engineering that is dedicated to the scientific organization of obtaining, transporting, storing, distributing, and storing materials and finished products, all in an integrated way in the design of the supportability of complex systems. It is also essential for Logistics Engineering to develop technical requirements for training, fleet maintenance, and support the cost calculations of supporting the system during its implementation and operation, associated with other aspects of support to the operational capacity of one (or a set of) systems until their withdrawal from service.

The institutional objectives and the path traced for the laboratory

Multidisciplinary Logistics Engineering.
Design and maintenance engineers know how important it is for systems to be easy to support from the beginning.
Understanding the supportability of new weapon systems.
CDIO (conceive, design, implement, and operate) perspective in relation to support capacity.
Capability to learn from partners and provide academic research on Logistics and Maintenance Engineering in a full tripod propeller environment (Government, Academy, and Industry).
Teaching and research cooperation with the 'Brazilian Air Force's Logistics Institute (ILA)'.

Aerospace Future with Embraer & Gyeongsang province AeroLogLab participates in the 'Aerospace Future with Embraer & Gyeongsang province' event in South Korea The event was the result of a Memorandum of Understanding between EMBRAER and the government of South Korea. At the invitation of EMBRAER, AeroLogLab participated in lectures on e-maintenance carried out by Professor Henrique Marques.
